While this may not be computer related, the necessity of finding ways in which to reduce our carbon footprint is always welcome by technology enthusiasts. This little baby is retailing for 200 Dollars in the US and can heat 8 litres of water up to 140°C in around about 2 hours. This water is then cooled with normal tap water for a pleasant shower experience.
The device is designed for external use, but in principle the technology could slowly be applied to indoor usage in the next few years.
