Remember those amazing specials Incredible Connection ran in February where you traded-in in all your old PC’s, notebooks, monitors and cameras for discounts on new products? I have some feedback about all those trade-ins and what happened to all of it.
Desco Recycling were responsible for collecting all the items from stores and ensuring that everything that could not be used, was disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Over 4000 units were collected which in total weighed a whopping 39,405 kgs!
Whatever could be salvaged from this “waste” would be used to refurbish computers and donate them to schools or institutions in need.
So there you go! As the old saying goes, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure!
