RSSLogitech’s Incredible One Night Cup: Final
Incredible Connection and Logitech brought the South African Call of Duty 4 scene the first ever One Night Cup. 16 teams faced off against one another in a one night competition. Single Elimination tournament, all the servers were provided by iGame! After some incredible games! =BFB= laRd came out on top as the overall winners! Synergy Gaming took second place! The tournament seen some upsets! Both the top seeds Pantheon and Brazen got knocked out in the Semi-Finals. =BFB= laRd managed to breeze past Pantheon with a 13 – 6 score on Crash, while Brazen and Synergy Gaming played out the most intense game of the tournament! Both teams refused to give up, and with Brazen 12 – 9 up, Synergy fought hard to pull the game back to 12 – 12. With the score being drawn, the game went into Overtime, it would however take two more over times to find our eventual winner! Synergy Gaming took down Brazen in the third over time! With the defeat, Brazen got knocked into the consolation final for 3rd place alongside Pantheon gaming.
Synergy and laRd went on to the grand final, however it was not without drama, the game was running over an hour late due to the epic semi final match, and captain of laRd Trevor “qu1k_sh0t” Henry had lost power at home. As such the first reserve was called in. After the knife round, another game on Crash would decide the final winner of the tournament! The laRd team pulled ahead early, however at 9 – 4 Synergy fought hard to pull the game back. laRd however would not loose their momentum and won the overall tournament 13 – 10!
