Review of the TomTom GO 720
I personally don’t own a GPS, but from my limited GPS experience, I must say that this is one amazing device. It has all the bells and whistles one could want from a GPS. Here are some of its features I came across:
- A extra-wide 4.3 inch LCD touch screen. It has a matte finish which helps with sun glare.
- Hooks up to your bluetooth cellphone to act as a hands-free device
- Stores MP3′s, documents and photos on its 2GB internal memory
- Can play MP3′s via the built in FM-transmitter through to your radio
- Download voices and map colours to further customise your device

Btw a little birdy told me the other day that TomTom is pulling out of South Africa, could you please check with the guys and see if there is any truth to this “story”, or is this just more industry BS aimed at damaging TomTom and selling more of the competitions devices.

It does look like the Tom Tom GO 720 has what it takes to rival the best of Garmins hey…
I personally think TomTom has one up on Garmins, but that might just be my perception.
I’ve been very impressed with this GO 720. Definitely considering buying one myself!

Wonder how life will be without a Tom-Tom GO 720.I feel a Tom Tom GO 720 would solve all my problems, what with all the new street name changes I get lost without thinking about it.
Hey Basil, I’ve been reviewing the TomTom GO 720 for the past 2 weeks and it is a excellent GPS. I’m also starting to wonder what I would do without it when I have to give it back!
Wish I could win then I dont have to ask for directions anymore. Always scared to do so because of Hi-jack etc.
