We all knew it was going to happen and now it’s been confirmed; EA will be releasing the only officially licensed game for the 2010 World Cup. As can be expected, the title will be released across all major platforms. How the game will differ across each platform remains to be seen and can be tracked at: www.easports.com .
Players will have access to each and every team that took part in the World Cup qualifiers for 2010 (199 teams). All of the South-African stadiums will feature in the game as well as others based abroad (for qualification matches). If you’ve been following and playing the FIFA franchise as long as I have you’ll know that a World Cup game is quite standard issue; having said that, it must be noted that EA have packed this particular instalment with some features that have never been available before.

The latest creation coming out of Cupertino, Apple's headquarters, is the iPad. As Steve Jobs announced on Wednesday night, the device is going to fill the gap between smartphones and laptops. It has a 9.7" capacitive touchscreen that runs a operating system very similar to the one we see on the iPhone. Apps that currently run on your iPhone and iPod touch will also run on the iPad.
