PS3 Slim Update

August 25, 2009 | Digital Lifestyle, Game News, Gaming | 3 Comments

Two weeks ago the rumours of the PS3 slim were brought to light! However Sony confirmed all the details, the pricing and the pictures a few days ago. This is the top down image of the new PS3 slim, and the expected retail price of the new PS3 is set at $299 US, and we are awaiting the official announcement for South African Pricing. The 120 gig PS3 will not be called the PS3 Slim, Light or anything other than the PS3, and all older models have seen price cuts leading one to believe they are phasing out the old model. The new  model is 33% smaller in almost every aspect, including smaller height, smaller width and shaving off nearly 1.5kg! With all these reductions the machine still retains all of its power! Take a look at some more snap shots of the machine.

I will be leading the team, and hopefully transferring some of the knowledge from playing online to the players that are joining us for the first time!
